Congratulations to Gordonsville High School on their advancement to the semifinal round to the TSSAA Boys State Basketball Tournament, which will be held tomorrow, Friday, March 15, 2024, in Murfreesboro. Smith County Schools will be closed tomorrow, March 15, 2024, to allow all students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to attend the game.

Reminder if you are planning to sign your child out after the Veteran's Program, you will need to exit the gym through the outside door and go to the front door to sign your child out.

Tomorrow is our Veteran's Day program at 1:15 pm. We ask that all veterans, parents/guardian, and guest please enter in by the outside gym doors. We ask that you sit in the bleachers as our students will be sitting on the gym floor.
If you plan to check your child out after the program, you will need to exit the gym by the outside gym doors and come to the front door of the school to sign out your child.

Parents/Guardians of 3rd-Grade students
You will receive information today, Tuesday, May 23, 2023, regarding your child's performance on the ELA TCAP test. Printed letters will be sent home with every 3rd-grade student with individual student results and specific next steps if needed. Schools will be contacting parents/guardians via phone during the day today., Tuesday, May 23, 2023, for those students who must complete additional requirements for promotion to 4th grade.
