The Smith County Health Department and Smith County School System have partnered up to offer seasonal flu shots to students at UHS. The Health Department will be at UHS on September 22, 2025 for the flu shot. If you would like your child to receive a flu shot, please fill out the consent form by Monday, September 15, 2025.
If your child is covered by insurance, including TennCare and private insurance, the County Health Department will file a claim with the insurance plan and receive reimbursement directly from the insurance plan.
If your child is uninsured, there is a cost of up to $20. If you would like to be considered for a sliding scale reduced fee, please contact the Health Department (615) 735-0242 to provide your family size and income.
