UHS Winners at the 2024 Annual Cumberland Plateau Regional Science and Engineering Fair at TTU
On Thursday, April 11, 2024 UHS had 7 students along with the 7th/8th grade Science Teacher travel to Tennessee Tech (TTU) to compete in the Regional Science and Engineering Fair.
UHS had 7 students place in the county Science Fair competition which advanced to the regional competition held at TTU. Seven students represented UHS at this regional competition. Six of the seven placed in this competition. Thank you Ms. Lori Stiggins, 7th and 8th grade science teacher, for making this possible for these students.

8th grade Division:
Elanie Mitchell placed 2nd in Chemical Science
Perrah Guin and Ali Page placed 1st in Energy and Environmental Engineering
7th Grade Division:
Gavin Westphal placed 3rd in Engineering Robotics and Computer Science
Maria Miranda Lopez and Anna Page placed 1st in Animal and Plant Science
Kayden Wilkerson competed but did not place.
