The Smith County High School Cheerleaders will be hosting a community pep rally on Saturday, August 12 in front of the Smith County Historic Courthouse. There will be food trucks, games, inflatables, performances by the SCHS and SCMS cheerleaders, the SCHS band, introduction of SCHS and SCMS football players, and a competition between schools for the spirit stick.
UHS will be taking a pep bus for any interested student in grades 4th through 8th free of charge. Students will need to arrive at UHS parking lot between 4:00 and 4:20 pm. The bus will leave at 4:30 pm and return at approximately 8:20 - 8:35 pm. Students will need money for food and games. Students brought home forms to be signed in order to ride the pep bus from UHS to Carthage for the Community Pep Rally. Ms. Kittrell, Ms. Ashley, Ms. Eleese, and other UHS faculty and staff will be attending as Chaperones.
All pep bus forms must be turned in by Wednesday, August 9th.
