Courtesy information regarding your upcoming football contest at Coalfield High School.
- Due to COVID regulations, the following protocols will be in place at all CHS Football games this season:
- All fans will have a temperature screening prior to entry. TSSAA rules say that no one who has a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be admitted.
- All fans will be required to wear a mask for entry.
- All fans will be encouraged to practice social distancing once inside the stadium.
- Tickets will be available at each gate. If one gate sells their allotment, there is the possibility that the other gate might still have some.
- 300 tickets were sent to Gordonsville High School for pre-sale.
- Encourage fans to pre-buy tickets at each school.
Travel west on Interstate 40 towards Knoxville. Take exit 347 off I-40. This is the Harriman exit. The exit makes a huge loop around. Keep to the right and merge on to US Hwy 27 North. Travel 8.5 miles on US 27 north. You will pass through Harriman and keep left when 27 and TN Hwy 61 split. After 8.5 miles, you will turn right onto Coal Hill Rd. This right will be just after entering Morgan County. They have built a HUGE concrete wall on the side of the road. The turn is easy to miss. Once you turn onto Coal Hill Rd., you will drive straight to the school. The school is 5.6 miles on the right.
- Team bus and personnel should turn right from Coal Hill Rd. on to Jerry Jones Rd. that runs directly behind the football stadium. Team bus and equipment should follow Jerry Jones Rd. all the way to the park and circle around to park at the field house.
- Our space for team parking is limited. Please limit vehicles to team bus, equipment truck and trailer and one other vehicle if needed.
- Fans should park in the front lot and in lot directly behind the visiting side of the football field. The main gate is next to the school on the home side.
- Please inform fans that there is no parking with the team vehicles.
- Only two gates will be open. The main gate is located next to the school and the other gate will be on the visitor’s side in the corner of the stadium just prior to entry into the park. The gate between the visitors’ side stands will not be open this season.
- There is parking at these gates.
